Cultural Insight:
China
is the homeland of tea. For Chinese people, "drinking tea" can be very
simple, just for quenching thirst; it can also be very complex, becoming
an art called "品茶" (savoring tea). Savoring tea is not just about
drinking; it's about appreciating the color, aroma, taste, and shape of
the tea leaves. The traditional Chinese tea ceremony emphasizes
"tranquility" and "slowness," allowing you to pause in a busy life,
relax, and quietly enjoy a period of time with friends. Common teas
include green tea, black tea, Oolong tea, etc.
